  I was sexually assulted by Richard Petkus (former Sgt in the US Airforce/Hill AFB. AKA "Bert") of:

  Richard Petkus sexually assulted me, twice. He took advantage of me, twice. My uncle, Richard (Rick) Petkus, took at least two photographs of my vagina without consent. He violated his niece when he thought she was at her most vulnerable.
  
  I did not give Richard Petkus permission to touch me. He did not have my consent to take explicit photographs of my vagina. I did not tell him that it was ok to pull down my knickers.
  
  In the uk he would have been arrested pending further investigation, a search warrant would have been put in place and all electronic devices would have been seized and searched, charges would have been made or not etc... in America and in the UK, it is illegal to take explicit photographs of somebody without their consent. In America, however, they need more evidence than just the victim's say so of the crime in order for them to prosecute. 
  
  Rick continues to live happily in denial, suffering no consequences for his crimes and yet over the past 18months my life has been and continues to be a living hell, to the point where I am no longer living, but barely existing, purely for my dogs.
  
  "The police report remains saved in the system with all the information in it. If there were future incidents then this report could be referenced."
  
  Hopefully the report won't ever need to be referenced. I am hoping that I have told enough people and kicked up enough of a fuss and screamed my truth as loud as possible that no one will ever have to experience something like I did.
